Started well the place looked inviting and modern, we were shown to our table then someone took a drinks order. Staff were great but food was poor. My wife had the beef and ale pie, this was more tomato then beefy. I went for the mixed grill and asked for medium rare all the meats were over done and the chips were dry and the whole thing was not presented very well.Overall very disappointed won’t be returningThe only star is for the staff otherwise would of been zero

I have the say this place is a gem. It is perfect for people staying at Ribby Hall. The food is super, the kids menu and potion's are wonderful. I would highly recommend this place.

Went by chance as was passing, great spot to eat. Food was really nice and a much wider menu / variety than I expected. Friendly staff and attentive service. First time there but won't be the last.

Called into the Kingfisher on our way back from No problem getting a table as we hadn't booked. Really good choice on the menu. The food was lovely and hot and really good portions. Lovely friendly staff. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

Called for dinner .. whilst we were waiting to be seated there were a crowd of men at the nearby tables jumping on each others backs and shouting.. unsure whether they were drunk or it was just horseplay ..we asked if we could be seated somewhere a little quieter and we were taken to the other side of the pub and told someone would be along to take our order ..within minutes of sitting down the speaker directly above our table started blasting football music anthems out at full volume . We were literally the only ones in that part of the pub and this was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak. We chose our meals and waited for a member of staff to come and take our order.. we were going to ask if it was possible the volume could be turned down a bit ...we waited and waited ..25 minutes later we could take no more and walked out ...with "It's coming home" still ringing in our ears .. absolutely dreadful.

Delicious home good food in a comfortable and relaxing setting. This place has had its troubles over the years with different brands and owners but finally it's the delightful community pub that kirkham has been crying out for.

Went with friends very organized felt very safe. We had a bonus sun shone all afternoon so had a lovely time. It'll still be good opening inside today though our weather is never the safest ?. Just round the corner from us have been going for a long time. Would recommend.
